May Just contemplate a manual entry around the 53 psychological mark(Crude) and 59.2(Brent), second opportunity for price to fill our limit order and its marginally missed again......

The XNG Short off of the H4 chart finally moving our way, but i dont like the prolonged DD period, will need to revise the approach to this one and look for alternative when on the Higher TF.....

It seems like this thing is rangebound at the moment which may nullify the short-term effectiveness of the strategy. Without defined momentum in either direction, success will be harder to find in the short-term. At least I think that makes sense... thoughts?

Agreed, think we need to
1. Define the parameters of the range. ie the range high and low.
2. Look at the overall picture.
3 The selloff of the H4 200 EMA and inability to close above the handle suggests we resume the down trend.....which is in line with the overall longer term outlook.
4. the short term effectiveness should fit in line with the strategy as we arent looking to marry positions and we trading off of lower timeframes, hence why i close the H4 short setup, .......Limitation of losses becomes the next point of consideration....

Will watch PA around the current handle and look at how it closes on the daily,

Brent Oil

There seems to be a shift in momentum.
Although prices are at the 50 EMA signalling an entry to short as we are under the 200 EMA, the 15 EMA has crossed above the 50 EMA as such signalling that we should not add to shorts till the 15 ema gets back below the 50 EMA.

As such will waiit for prices to test the 50ema and look to short it again today.
