About the original EA itself.. Seems very simplistic but might have the potential.. Anyone tested it?
Also, I do not care if it didn't work long-term.. usually every static EA has a window of opportunity which means it does close someday...
The question is.. can we make enough money in the meantime.. since pyramiding.. so to build and pull-out in time, to preserve the crash or before meeting the black swan(s)... I also love this part "-when you reach the "target" (in DOLLARS) it closes all positions."... because not so few traders got pretty high but then they overtraded into the "black swan"
That is why I believe everyone should have a number.. at which point he would WALK away.. at least from one particular EA, for example

I could have sold it on ebay or something, I would be rich! now way, I'm too good and I shared it for free...
jokes apart, I would never sell / share an automated SYSTEM . this is just MM.. not bad if combined with a good entry / exit strategy.

Yeah, joking? But you get the idea...Yes, Money Management is very important... without it, some trader that might have the edge.. might seem fail due to the poor Money Management...
In fact, remember at least one trader that left the pursue of finding of finding the holy grail or how to read the market and he focused on Money Management instead... AT the end he said that basically... price direction always irrelevant for hime and that he makes MOST/ALL of the money by MM alone... Not sure exactly how he has done it, but I get at least some idea..
I can tell by personal experience that this MM component costed me GOOD money at the beginning... Price prediction was working even better than now due to massive liquidity... but had poor MM setup... when I started... Similar to that of the rookies that are obsessed with certain RR ratio etc...
Ok, so I haven't (back)tested your EA but would like to hear from someone that did... HeyYou, you keep doing or even upgrading it? Is it the same as in the original post?

HeyYou, you see, you have to revive this thread MM is very important... Many lack it... It is counter intuitive at times, but when does certain permutations... something wonderful can be revealed... Is this a SINGLE VERSION TE or have you upgraded it or made some sort of adjustments fro different market conditions, times?

Well I am glad that you still use this version so I would think it was a good original design. Hopefully others can get something out of it too.

with this ultra high risk approach you need some good amount of luck to win big.
example: first set up +500%
second set up another +500% and you're up 3500%
at this point you should take the money, run and never trade again lol
you know what I mean.

Because at that kind of return, luck has to have substantial stake Unless one is a wizard of course... I call 500% return a SINGLE strike for that reason in particular... if we are talking 500%/trade.. it is very risky to RISK that return again, but possible... But you know what Dr. Strange said... "All I need is possible." - Dr Strange; meaning that as long as there is a chance... he can rig it
My personal holy grail is to hit 7x 500% in a row... and I would quit (cause 100USD->bout 30mio)
