Hello Everyone,
Yep, this is my first post.
I guess, my question would have been asked a thousand times, but phrased or 'coined' differently.
I would like to ask you, ALL, your opinion & experiance with the below.
1st. Oanda. I have just started the "game" (demo) account. It seems easy, but also very basic, of which I am after. What I couldn't understand though at their site, is what the minimum amount required to open an account, since I couldn't read about a "mini" account. But I did read that they had no "minimums". What size is their trading lots & leverage worth? 200:1, 100:1, 50$ lots, 100$ lots? etc. What I did like, was being easy to understand their "high" "low" margins, so you could leave the system to take your profit at a pre-set, or to loose a certain amount and close the trade for you. (slippage?). I also like how they have very tight margins and "quick" updating.

2nd. GCI Trading. Too simple interface, or I just can't understand it yet. Maybe with more time. What I am looking for, is when I buy, to tell it when to get out of the market, either in profit, or in loss. They also have some ommissions in their charts :-( some of the pairs that you can trade are NOT available in the charts. So there is no way of following the trend, except in the "numbers" in front of you. I usually preffer looking at the candlesticks, so it makes it easier for me to spot trends.

Also the other thing I am looking at, is basically a mini account, to be able to be funded either with e-gold or pay-pal. That is why I selected these two. Also, for starters, I would preffer to start at 300$ or less.
I just want to apply in "demo" what I have been reading on paper and here.
Which of the two above would be more suitable also to some systems mentioned here.
My other question is about the tax man, since I live in Australia, and every source of income is taxable... or so it seems. How do I declare it?
I might be adding more questions as I come accross them. But these are my major questions at the moment.
