It looks like there is a tropical storm in the Atlantic that will turn into Hurricane Jerry soon enough. Another one to keep an eye on when trading.

Disliked{quote} Just out a few minutes ago - NHC says it's near hurricane strength. Won't hit land it seems though. Not sure about shipping routes or oil platforms however.{image}Ignored
DislikedChecked quickly and it doesn't seem to that much drama as they report? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2019_A...urricane_JerryIgnored
Disliked{quote} Yep, Jerry isn't worth following. It's not going to impact energy at all. Like Jerry, Invest 99 will eventually curve out into the Atlantic too. {image} The only one that looks interesting is the low probability disturbance VPN posted that's nearing Jamaica. I haven't seen any plots on it yet, but its worth keeping an eye on since it could potentially get into the gulf.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Tnx man, glad to hear that... Also who can take anything named Jerry (too) seriously However they did cause some problems in the past, the ones names that way, but of course nothing compared to the big ones.. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tropical_Storm_Jerry But can you imagine Hurricane named Rufus? I would be scared shitless if I would be on its (even remotely) possible trajectoryIgnored

Disliked{quote} Haha yeah, I wouldn't want a Rufus coming anywhere near me! The tropics are active now, but not much in the way of threats to the US. {image} Some models show Karen making a hard left once it get's to around where Jerry is. There's some possibility it impacts the US, but its forecast to be weak even if it does. {image} Jerry is headed to sea, and it looks like Lorenzo will do the same. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Ef5, any hurricanes coming our way (USA)? You are the man in this thread. Thanks for all the valuable information!Ignored

DislikedHey fellows, I want to show you this website / app which shows you weather conditions live. You can actually see where the wind is , the speed and all the details. As well as storms/ air pollution, lightning maps, waves... etc. It's called Windy . It's also free, you can zoom in on any location to get more details etc, should be pretty useful to track hurricanes and typhoons live. Best part is sometimes you can even see a potential hurricane or typhoon forming before anyone even mentions it. Here's how it looks:{image}...Ignored
DislikedThis is Karen out in the Atlantic. Is this storm breaking up? Otherwise, I'd imagine we'd be hearing more about it. {image}{image}Ignored
