They underestimate how much influence SEC or US Treasury has overseas. Heck, they managed to force a Swiss bank to disclose who had assets with it.

That makes no sense. By assuming the role of a shareholder, you also take on the risk. The bank failed to place risk mitigation strategies and the shareholders bear the ultimate responsibility. It's right that shareholders lose everything.

Well, that's your perspective, sir. A dip can also simply mean a price drop relative to recent level, the literal meaning of the word, so buying the dip is buying somewhere in the drop. The dip doesn't necessarily need to recover.
