Yeah, the concept of the sweet zone is the masterpiece of Bill Wolfe IMHO, it combines time and space, allowing zero drawdown entries on narrow zones. He suggests beginners to trade those narrow ones, as those are much easier to handle from the risk ...

image there's one but the C point should be the lower one, again the X point falls under the weird ones, but technically according to B.Wolfe this still qualifies as a WW I think.
- juriFX replied May 18, 2017
What was the WW you were trading? The only one I could find was the following one and doesn't look not well structured: image

Agree, having the X point in same direction takes also advantage of crowd psychology: image EDIT: typo, should be LL/LH image Don't like the strength of the waves (projection) but gives a practical idea of what I mean. Ideally, for the 3rd wave ...

If you change the scale down, it is a valid X point. From the examples I've seen, Bill Wolfe would have no problems to consider that a valid one. It did bounce price, only it was short lived and hard to profit from. Can't win them all EURJPY ...

Looks like I missed it, was waiting for a deeper entry inside the sweet zone image

Looks like it was invalidated, on 30m/15m we have one almost formed in opposite direction. image In this case, I think it's better to wait for price stalling or some sign of rejection since price is accelerating (strength) into the sweet zone

Well, to be fair, there are no real ECN brokers, I mean, just read the terms when you sign up. Have yet to find one that states that they are not the counterparty. Maybe there are a few exceptions, but they probably don't offer mini lots, 1:500 ...

Yes original one was invalidated but a new one is in progress image Looking at 4H, this is in a good context of a yet to complete HTF WW image congrats on your latest trades, well done

thanks, very good post One question tough, how do you personally draw the fan angles? Do you use High/lows of a move or do you look for the angles to fit previous price bounces, or just 45 degree? In the last case, do you square time and price ...

I completely agree with you on how it should be, I'm just wondering why he does this , Bill Wolfe must be knowing what he is doing Most of the examples from his book or website have weird X points. This is ...

those are example charts by Bill Wolfe, as far as I can see it, they are all converging, am I missing something?
- juriFX replied May 10, 2017
I've seen some examples by Bill Wolfe where the X point is something like this: AUDCAD 15m image Ignoring the not so good symmetry, what do you think about these? Is it forcing a WW on a chart or maybe some sort of "secret" explained only in his ...

Identifying wolfe waves manually is not an easy task, many are invalidated, making this also a time consuming task, the indicator surely is a big help but IMHO it should only be used once one is comfortable in identifying them on a naked chart in ...
