Hi Rocky, I have a question about the following 2 entries. Do you consider PA at that point oversold / overbought because of the sharp move, or is there other reasoning apart from the MACD crossover? Thank you.
- Svetul4o replied Mar 4, 2024
I would not make an entry there even on the previous candle. PA is in a tight range and your entry is very close to a level of support that you have already marked. If you were hoping for a break to the downside, there is not enough room for a break ...

With less than 50% of your trades in the green, things can get ugly with a real account fast. The way Rocky trades does not guarantee a positive risk reward. He uses a stop of 15 - 20 ticks and as you can see a lot of his entries although in the ...

I do remember rocky talking about this specifically and even gave examples as he got stopped out in the red on an otherwise good entry. Even my broker is advising me to sit on my hands during high impact news.

How dare you? Only positive vibes are allowed here. Who cares if PA moves faster than you can blink and can whipsaw your entry the next second you place it.

Dude, if me having a different point of view is interpreted as me not liking you or being disagreeable, than rest in the knowledge that I won't bother you any more. I leave you to drown in positivity and confirmation bias without actually having a ...

You refer often to Investopedia, so this time I will refer you to the same. "Types of Markets Forex is traded primarily via spot, forwards, and futures markets. The spot market is the largest of all three markets because it is the “underlying” asset ...

It's not scared money. Whilst learning for a person on minimum wage it makes a difference having to risk a days grocery money on one trade versus say the price of a coffee.

I would just like to clarify a little. Forex can be traded on the futures market as well as a CFD. What I believe he is referring to are CDFs or Contract for Differences. Essentially they are a product made by the broker, but are generally supposed ...

You are relying on volume to trade a CFD? Are you trolling or what?

Nasdaq 6 point bricks. An example of how ADX looks with color overlay. Settings are the same as what Rocky uses. At least in my eyes it's far less ambiguous and one can concentrate more on price action.

My little comment?! I have a feeling you are taking this personally. Ok I will try to break down what I just said. Sharing your journey is fine. Hey look I tried this and it did not work, I tried that and it did work. This is a journey. Sharing your ...

Would just like to point out that although I agree with a lot of what ImanTrading says he is still not consistently profitable (he says so in many of his videos). He sounds honest and does expose some grifters on youtube, but that does not make up ...

It's interesting and usefull to see someone else's interpretation of the same charts as I also look at the Nasdaq. It's a CFD, but the chart is still pretty much the same. Still working out the kinks on my end, but what I have is looking actualy ...

You have more than 2 indicators on the chart so I assume you have a paid subscription to tradingview. This gives you access to range bars and if you look back Rocky uses range bars and renko pretty much interchangably.

So esentialy the HA equivalent of bullish / bearish engulfing candles. Thank you.

Hi vivad I have another question for you. I've ended up constructing basicaly the same template as you have, but with a 50SMA instead of the 34EMA as I see it working better with the DAX and PSAR as an entry trigger and stop loss point. Yet my logic ...

Seting aside the legality of such a thing there are so many holes in what you propose that it looks like swiss cheese. Who are you, how much have you traded, what is your track record? And no, what you have posted on FF has next to zero value. You ...

So what you are looking for take profit is basically my spread on my CFD equivalent. I don't have a commission on that instrument. Hmm ... guess I need to look into this further.

Hi vidvad. I have a question. I see your entries and exits are basicaly 2-3 minutes appart. What are your costs aka. comisions and spread per entry? On CFDs typicaly the spread would make such trades imposible. Even on a zero spread broker my ...
