If it is, as you say, mostly unidirectional, a correction and an uptrend.. then why are you looking to short instead of buying a dip? I'm curious more from a behavioral standpoint than whatever FA or TA or not may be behind it, really.

If you mean indicators, then I'd say nothing really does, if you mean techs as in chart techs, then I'd say it's as clear as day most of the time.
