Fairly aggressive bounce looks like the downside is limited for today at least

For now, crude has managed to stay above that $36 handle. The recent story has been lowering demand forecasts all over. But these hurricanes in the Atlantic and gulf might be supporting prices a little bit as well. Click to Enlarge

Surprised that the downside move today wasn't larger - but I've still got my eye on hitting the $35 mark before getting out of my shorts. There's no news coming out that isn't bearish IMO.

Anyone else seeing anything different?

This area is being defended well by the bulls. I was anticipating a further breakdown to possibly lower thirties. If this does not occur next week I will start switching my bias back to being bullish

That was an atrocious trading day with a very low ATR not worth the 9˘ drop in price

Comparing the bullish thrust last night to this current bearish Move that is struggling to go lower. I wouldn’t be surprised if we got another thrust upwards some time today

MattRWR Sep 15, 2020 4:10pm | Post# 8893

Is this all to do with the storm disrupting supply? It's the only piece of bullish news I can find!

My positions are hurting me ATM, but will give them this week (and probably next) to make some movement downwards - otherwise, I'll chalk this one as a loss and move on!

Well you were right. After yesterday's garbage move WTI gained a healthy $1.15 in a very decent trading day.

1H chart has a nice pin bar rejection candle and several smaller ones. Looks like bears are defending this area.

Bears lost - WTI went up $1.77 today in a near straight 45 degree angle.

Yup wonder how high the bulls will take it. Definitely think we will get a new high. Hopefully $45+
