US, China aiming for trade deal by late May or early June
The U.S. and China are planning for two more rounds of trade talks with the aim of completing a deal by late May or early June, according a report Wednesday. U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer and Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin are scheduled to travel Beijing in the last week of April to continue trade talks and their counterpart, Chinese Vice Premier Liu He, according to a Wall Street Journal report Wednesday, citing an anonymous source.
