    Thank you, Eric, and thank you for the opportunity to speak to you today.1 My topic is the outlook for the U.S. economy and the implications for monetary policy, a set of judgements that have, of course, been influenced by this morning's jobs report. When I scheduled this speech several months ago, I knew it might be challenging to speak a few hours after the release of such an important piece of data. ....feel free to call me out for being wrong should you be right in a couple weeks. Though, if what you propose happens, I'll likely be in a hospital somewhere after a massive coronary event when the market hits 2 limit downs in 1 day on the news.
The markets just cannot make up their mind on this cut thing and what it means.....consensus shifted to 50 bps this morning....markets rose. Then they shifted to 25bps, markets tanked. Now back to 50 bps in a big way....marketsgive up the small pop from when Waller started talking.

All noise , all expected
market no need to hear about "the time has come" stop trolling the people. Market only have to know how many "cuts" the Fed gonna make or how big the first cut in september, 25bps or 50bps. Give us a "clue". Now he is playing "mind games" to us. For who got trap, he will say "Time to Hell has come".
I've been at this for 30 years, and I was wrong many times, but one thing I know is the reason that the lion is still in the cage not because of the bars, but it's the invisible gaps between the bars . You have to take everything into account. Literally everything around the world. FX in particular doesn't exist in a vacuum. Sitting here and screaming at one guy's opinion is pointless. I've said this many times before, opinion is like asshole, everyone got one! This site is for entertainment while I am watching grass grow ... Enjoy your Friday boys!!!

Unless the site made an error and flip flopped the numbers by accident this is one heck of a change in an hour.
