EIA Ups Brent Oil Price Forecast for 2024 and 2025
The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) increased its average Brent spot price forecast for this year and next year in its latest short term energy outlook (STEO), which was released this week. According to its April STEO, the EIA now sees the Brent spot price averaging $89.97 per barrel in the first quarter of 2024, $91.34 per barrel in the second quarter, $89.67 per barrel in the fourth quarter, and $88.55 per barrel overall in 2024.
