Key OPEC+ panel says overproducers will compensate
A key ministerial Opec+ committee recommended no change to the producer group's output policy at its meeting today but said members that have produced above their quotas so far this year will submit plans to compensate. The Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee (JMMC), which oversees compliance to the coalition's crude production cuts and studies market dynamics, "welcomed Iraq and Kazakhstan's pledge to achieve full conformity as well as compensate for overproduction," the Opec Secretariat said after the meeting ended.
