Aramco makes two new natural gas discoveries in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia's national oil company, Saudi Aramco, has made two new natural gas discoveries in the Empty Quarter, a largely unexplored region in the southeastern part of the country, the country’s oil minister Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz announced on November 19. The two newly discovered fields are named Al-Hiran and Al-Mahakik. Gas flowed from the Hanifa reservoir in the Al-Hiran-1 well at a rate of 30mn ft3/day.
