I wouldn't raise interest rates, but I would end QE. It's not like you have to raise rates... maybe square the rates at 0% and that's it. Japan has okay growth, inflation at around 2 - 3% and very good employment.

It's time for Japan to let the rest of the world pay for their stupid mistake of printing trillions for fake corona pandemic (which was only an excuse to print the money and create the environment for big reset).

Without doing anything drastic, the value of Yen will start reflecting fundamentals, because Japan will be doing much, much better than any other developed economy and Yen will again rise as the safe haven currency. BoJ just has to stay put and wait for the collapse to come which is inevitable. Intervene once, end QE and square the rates at 0% and the job is done. Doing these three things will make Yen shine and restore the balance in the markets. No need for any drama...

For how long will Japan continue to devalue Yen not to cause the collapse of other economies? We'll see...

I think thr damage they they have done will take a year or so, but yen will naturally recover. The good thing about Japan that's left is that they have insane amount of treasury reserves of the US so within a flick of a finger they can push yen up immediately vs the dollar by at least 2%, however after that unless they get rid of QE I highly doubt yen will recover much after that

The recovery will actually take more time.
