    Today, President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. declared that an emergency exists in the State of New York and ordered Federal assistance to supplement State and local response efforts due to the emergency conditions resulting from a severe winter storm beginning on December 23, 2022, and continuing. The President’s action authorizes the Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), to coordinate all disaster relief efforts which have the purpose of alleviating the hardship and suffering caused by the emergency on the local population, and to provide appropriate assistance for required ... Remember, this storm was called a once in a generation event.
Winter has only just got underway and its pattern so far has been a thrust of cold then a pull back. Then another thrust of cold deeper then that prior one.

This is what happens during a Grand solar minimum as it proceeds. Meridional jet stream as cold air pushes down from Arctic regions as it has no other place to go.

All that climate warming hysteria has placed power grids and energy supplies at risk.
