National consumer price index, First half of June of 2022
In the first fortnight of June 2022, the National Consumer Price Index (INPC) grew 0.49% compared to the previous fortnight. With this result, annual headline inflation stood at 7.88 percent. In the same fortnight of 2021, biweekly inflation was 0.34% and annual inflation was 6.02 percent. The underlying price index increased 0.50% at a fortnightly rate and 7.47 percent annually. In the same period, the non-core price index rose 0.49% fortnightly and 9.13% at an annual rate.
